What our
parents
need to
know

Our parent hub

We want to provide our parents with as much information and guidance as possible so that they can feel rest assured that our setting fulfills all their needs as a local nursery. If you have any questions which are not covered below, please contact us direct for our full parent pack and policy documents.

As well as general information, we also use online diary entry system Tapestry. This is an area where parents can view and comment on their child’s day at Treetops Nursery. We include overviews, images and videos to tell our parents the story of what their child has enjoyed, what milestones they have achieved and which activities they have taken part in with their peers.

Food and drink

All children will need to bring a named water bottle to nursery at every session. We provide a free healthy snack of fruit and raw vegetables for all our children both mid-morning.

Free milk is also available at snack times. Children who are present during the afternoon session will need to bring a healthy packed lunch from home. Lunch is usually eaten around 12:15pm. Children who are with us at 8am will be served a healthy breakfast. The cost of this is £1.00 per day.

Uniform

We have Treetops Nursery t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and rucksacks available to purchase. The uniform is not compulsory, although we would recommend children wear it as it does help them to feel part of the nursery community.

Policies

Our policies are available to view and download. Take a look and please ask us any questions relating to their topics.
