Welcome to Treetops Nursery

Treetops Nursery in Attleborough.

Offering spaces form 2 year old.

At Treetops Nursery Attleborough, we understand that starting nursery is a significant step for both children and parents. We welcome children aged 2 to 4 into a calm, nurturing environment where their well-being and development are our top priorities. Our dedicated discovery garden allows for daily outdoor play, with covered areas so children can explore and enjoy fresh air in all weather. We celebrate diversity and inclusivity, welcoming children from all backgrounds, cultures, languages, and abilities, and always place your child at the heart of everything we do. Community involvement is encouraged through regular visits and local walks, helping children feel connected and secure.

Our daily routines are thoughtfully structured to provide a reassuring sense of consistency and comfort. Each day begins with a warm welcome and settling-in period, followed by engaging group activities, free play both indoors and outdoors, nutritious snack and meal times, and quiet moments for rest or stories. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring every child’s needs are met and their progress is closely supported. Our caring team communicates regularly with parents, keeping you informed and involved in your child’s experiences and achievements.

We know how important it is for you to feel confident in your child’s care. Our team is here to support you and your family every step of the way, making the transition to nursery as smooth and positive as possible. We look forward to welcoming your family and helping your child thrive.

Kim Booth

Manager

My journey in the childcare sector began two decades ago, driven by a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young children. The first step was taking on the role of a one-to-one support worker for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This experience gave me a deep understanding of the unique needs of each child and the profound impact that dedicated support can have on their development.

During my initial training, before I had fully qualified, I found myself captivated by the rich tapestry of childhood theory. Learning about the foundational work of childhood theorists was truly inspiring. Their insights into cognitive development, the importance of social interaction, and the significance of secure attachments opened my eyes to the complexities and wonders of early childhood. This theoretical grounding not only deepened my appreciation for the field but also shaped my practical approach. It underscored the value of evidence-based practice and the importance of seeing every child as an individual with unique potential and needs.

Eager to broaden my skills and knowledge, I steadily gained valuable experience and qualifications. Each new role allowed me to work with diverse groups of children and collaborate with committed teams. This hands-on learning helped me develop a practical approach to childcare and reinforced my belief in the importance of inclusion, patience, and tailored support for every child.

Recently, I relocated to Norfolk and am honoured to be the manager of Treetops Attleborough Nursery. The ethos at Treetops is truly inspiring—it places the wellbeing of children, the growth of the team, and the engagement of the wider community at its heart. Being part of such a forward-thinking and supportive setting fills me with pride and motivation every day. As I reflect on the past twenty years, I am proud of the positive influence I have been able to make and the legacy of nurturing, inclusive practice I continue to build. My journey has been shaped by dedication, innovation, and a steadfast belief in the transformative power of early years education. I look forward to many more years supporting children, families, and my team at Treetops Nursery.
